Suspects sought in northwest Kansas kidnapping incident

Law enforcement officers in Nebraska and northwest Kansas are looking for two suspects in a kidnapping that was reported Saturday.

The suspects kidnapped a person from Oberlin, Kansas and held that person hostage for a period of time.  The hostage escaped shortly before noon at a location north of Oberlin.

The Sheriff’s Office in Red Willow County, Nebraska said a search has been underway for a blue or green older model mini van with Oklahoma plates. The vehicle is occupied by a white male about 5 feet 6 inches tall,  bald with a long brown beard and tattoos on his chest.  Another suspect was described as a Black male 5 feet 10 inches tall and chubby with a mustache and goatee and face tattoos. They men are considered armed and dangerous.

No other details have been released at this time on the kidnapping incident.
