A Wichita man has been sentenced to more than 17 years in prison for a series of sexual assaults on several women.
A Sedgwick County district judge handed down a 206-month sentence to 64-year-old Michael O’Neal, who was found guilty earlier this year of rape and aggravated criminal sodomy.
O’Neal was arrested in 2021, and he was accused of approaching women, promising to pay them for cleaning services, and then sexually assaulting them. The District Attorney’s Office said he had assaulted seven different women over the past 14 years.
