2. So, what kind of boost did the U.S. economy get from the solar eclipse yesterday? According to one study, People traveling to see the total solar eclipse in the US were estimated to have spent up to $1.6B, on things like housing, food, and gas.

5. and one small island off the coast of Italy wants you to ‘come get your goat’. The mayor of a remote Italian island overrun by wild goats has offered to give the animals away to anyone willing to take one in. The island has a small, year-round population of 100. There are over 600 goats on the island, and they are becoming a nuisance, damaging gardens and even wandering into people’s homes.  Now look, I can’t be the only one thinking, a 24-hour marinade and a smoker would surely fix their goat population problem.
