Police are investigating a crash in southeast Wichita that left an unidentified person dead. This was the second fatal crash to be reported within a four-hour period Sunday afternoon.
The crash was reported around 4:20 p.m. east of the intersection of 47th Street South and Woodlawn. Sedgwick County deputies said an eastbound motorcycle went left of the center line on a curve and hit a westbound vehicle head-on. The motorcycle rider, a 28-year-old Haysville man, was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not been released.
