Here are today’s “5 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW”
1. The US House of Representatives voted 352-65 yesterday to ban TikTok in the US unless its Chinese-based parent company, Bytedance, divests the popular social video network’s US operations within six months. The bill’s prospects in the Senate are unclear, though President Joe Biden has said he would sign the bill should it pass.
2. The Wichita Police Department has started a new training program that is in use for more than 300 law enforcement agencies across the country. The program is called ABLE, for Active Bystandership for Law Enforcement. Training in the program gives officers the knowledge and skills necessary to intervene in situations where fellow officers may be engaging in inappropriate or potentially harmful behavior.

3. Dollar Tree announced it will close 600 Family Dollar stores this year, and 370 Family Dollar stores and 30 Dollar Tree stores in coming years, after posting fourth quarter losses
4. It’s March 14th, also known as Pie Day. Thanks to google we know the favorite pies in each state. In Kansas, the most googled pie is custard pie, if you were to move to Texas, their favorite is Chicken Pot Pie, but the one that really has me curious is the favorite in Tennessee, Kool Aid Pie.
5. Chuck Norris is clearly “Benjamin Button”. The actor and martial arts master turned 84 yesterday and posted a boxing video claiming he feels like 48. The best part of the post is the comments section and worth spending some time reading because the internet didn’t disappoint. For instance:
