The nominees for the CMT Music Awards have been revealed. It’s a 5-way tie for most nominations between Kelsea Ballerini, Cody Johnson, Lainey Wilson, Jelly Roll and Megan Moroney who all earned three nominations each for the fan-voted awards show. Fan voting is open now through April 1st and Kelsea Ballerini is returning to host the show on Sunday April 7th at 7pm on CBS and Paramount+
On April 13th, Chris Stapleton is set to be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live. Ryan Gosling, who is starring in his new film “The Fall Guy” is returning as host.
Trisha Yearwood will hit the big screen in the upcoming sequel to “This Is Spinal Tap.” She’s been confirmed as having a cameo in “This Is Spinal Tap 2.” Yearwood will be joined by her husband, Garth Brooks, along with Paul McCartney, Elton John and Questlove. The movie is currently in production. The original film premiered in 1984.
The Country Music Hall of Fame is bringing back an exhibit for its 20th anniversary. “Night Train to Nashville: Music City Rhythm & Blues Revisited” will open April 26th and run through September 2025. The exhibit explores the importance of Nashville’s R&B scene
The investigation continues into the disappearance of Missouri college student Riley Stain after he left Luke Bryan’s 32 Bridge in Nashville. Questions of Strain being over served and accusations of the bar staff no letting Strain’s friends leave with him are being investigated.
