Call it the world’s largest sand box – $500k worth of sand….why? I’m glad you asked. The rich folk up in Massachusetts who bought all that beautiful ocean front property, didn’t really give much thought to “what happens if the ocean doesn’t stop at the beach?” No, really, I had a girl in High School ask that question to a teacher once, “Why does the ocean stop at the sand?”. I’m wondering if she bought one of these homes in New England.
Anyway, residents bought $500K worth of sand to make dunes with plans to stop the ocean from ending up in their living room. Did they never build a sand castle when they were kids. We’ve all seen what happens when water hits sand, right?
72-hours later….the sand was was gone….and no way to get a refund.
