It was supposed to be a star-studded tribute for Dolly’s birthday – but it left fans more than a little upset. This after Elle King performed Dolly’s “Marry Me” on stage at the Grad Ole Opry. Elle had trouble remembering the lyrics and let go with some spicy profanity. She must have swore a dozen times. People were shocked that she admitted to being, ‘hammered.” Some paid $300 dollars for their tickets. Other posted that there were kids in the audience. Fans did not hold back on their disappointment.
This isn’t the first time this has happened. I watched Nashville’s Big Bash on New Years Eve. Elle was slurring that night too. Social media lit up saying that she was drunk on live TV. One person even suggested that Elle was about to become the first meme of 2024. May be time for some help. Elle is the daughter of comedian Rob Schneider.
