Must be a big fan to go full portrait of Bailey Zimmerman on their shoulder! The San Jose artist was Justin Reid of New Generation Tattoo. “This was my first full scale portrait,” the artist wrote on his post and tagged Bailey. “I learned so much in the process and I’m excited to conquer more pieces like this. There’s still some work to do on this one. But I’m happy with how far I’ve come.” Zimmerman shared the reel on his Instagram, posting, “This is insane,” and adding a fire emoji.
I give the artist all A’s if this is indeed his first portrait. I would think it could have gone very, very badly. I’ll admit, I could never commit to a portrait like that anywhere on my body.
