A Kingman County deputy was injured Tuesday night when his patrol car went out of control and overturned as he was trying to catch up to a chase.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said the crash happened late Tuesday night at Main and Northeast 20th Street in Kingman. The patrol car was going north on Main when it went into a ditch and rolled one and a half times before coming to rest on its side.
The KHP said the lights and siren had been activated on the patrol car when the crash occurred around 11:30 p.m. The deputy, a 33-year-old Maize man, was taken to a hospital with minor injuries.
No information has been released on the chase.
