Kansas Department of Transportation officials said a state highway through Mulvane will be closed for much of this week to allow for repair work to a railroad crossing.
K-53 will be closed from November 14th through November 17th. Traffic will be detoured to U.S. Highway 81 on the west, K-55 on the south and K-15 on the east.
