An injured bald eagle has been rescued in Kansas.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said Friday that state troopers and the Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism teamed up to rescue the eagle on westbound I-70 in Ellsworth County.
The eagle was taken to a sanctuary to be treated for an injured wing.
