Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Army Veteran Dalton Medlin. Dalton was part of a volunteer group of Veterans serving in Ukraine known as “Chosen Company”. Dalton, who used the call sign “Gimli,” first joined Chosen Company at the beginning of the year. A few days ago, his friend shared that Dalton has been killed in action saying, “He was brave, fearless, dedicated, and always placed his brothers first. He excelled as a grenadier and at soldiering in general. He stayed laser focused both in and out of combat. … His smile was contagious.” Thank you Dalton for your herosim and thank you for your service and ultimate sacrifice to your country and the people of Ukraine.
