Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak was the keynote speaker for a tech conference held Monday at Wichita State University.

The group Flagship Kansas.Tech sponsored the second annual Ad Astra Technology Summit at Koch Arena.  Wozniak spoke in a “fireside chat”format with Flagship Kansas immediate past chair Luis Rodriguez.

Wozniak talked about his experiences in building computers and working with Steve Jobs to create Apple.  He talked about recent developments with artificial intelligence and said the AI is designed to help humans, but humans will have to act as editors and they will have to be skeptical of what they see.  He doesn’t believe that Congress will regulate AI because the companies that use it will lobby against regulatory efforts.
