Say hello to John Blake. An award winning journalist from CNN who I first connected with after I lost my wife Michelle to Covid in 2020. As a journalist John deals in facts but he could not ignore the fact that so many people were experiencing signs from the deceased loved ones from ‘beyond the grave’. He heard about the story of Michelle’s purple street lights, and he reached out. The result was an article, that if noting else, factually presented hope that if nothing else, the memory of Michelle and all those lost to Covid would live on .

Over the last couple of years I’ve thought of John a lot, shared with friend and strangers the kindness and opportunity he showed by allowing me to share Michelle’s story. After all, I believe people die twice: Once the physical death and a second time when we stop saying their name. I wasn’t going to turn down the opportunity to say Michelle’s name on this kind of a platform. To this day, this article and Michelle’s story continue to inspire and touch hearts.
So, imagine the smile on my face when I received an email from John a couple weeks ago asking if I would interview HIM. I’m just a radio DJ in Wichita, this guy does this for a living and he wants me to interview him. Without hesitation, it was a RESOUNDING YES!! The result is a 30 minute conversation about race, faith, hope, healing and so much more and it was a privilege to be able to be a part of it. I hope you enjoy our talk as much as I did.
