Chris Young’s “Young Love and Saturday Nights” sounds like a rip-off of David Bowie’s “Rebel Rebel,” but it’s not as blatant. Warner Chappell Music Nashville contacted songwriter Jesse Frasure to use Bowie’s music in the country song. The modern word for the process is “extrapolation,” ironically, Bowie gets songwriter credit.
