Police in Hutchinson said an 88-year-old woman died after a car she was riding in crashed into a utility pole.
The crash was reported July 6th in the 2100 block of North Waldron. Police said a 91-year-old man had a medical condition and crashed into a pole. The driver and a female passenger were taken to the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, and the woman was later transferred to Ascension Via Christi hospital in Wichita. Police said the woman died the next day. Her name has not been released.
The crash is still under investigation.
