The big live entertainment companies say they will be implementing “all in” pricing for ticket buyers! Live Nation and Ticketmaster confirmed that there will be NO undisclosed fees when purchasing tickets.
President Biden hosted executives from different ticketing services to limit surprise or “junk” fees that push up prices – sometimes drastically! Live Nation hopes to display upfront pricing by September for the concert venues they own. Ticketmaster will give consumers the option to see all-in pricing up front for other venues. Even platforms like SeatGeek, say they will simplify the process when browsing for tickets to allow consumers to see the actual true cost online.
I think this is great! Many of us have to budget for tickets. You think you have enough put back… then KAPOW! This will prevent that shock of fees making you sad at checkout.
