Today, JJ’s Star Spangled Salute honors Marine Veteran Bill Lins. Bill deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan during his 12-year military career. Shortly after returning to civilian life, Bill was diagnosed with PTSD. He said he wouldn’t go anywhere, do anything, abused alcohol, and had failed relationships. Then Link came along from K9s for Warriors. Bill said he quickly learned that Link was the missing piece in his life and his service dog soon became the glue that held his life together. Bill says there is now a peace in his life that wasn’t there before. Congratulations on your continued healing Bill, Good Dog Link, and THANK YOU both for your service.
