It’s no secret that Garth Brooks has millions of fans, but when you find out that he is a fan of you, that is a whole different ball game, and it was a reality for an Iowa woman on Garth’s ‘Inside Studio G.’

Maggie Peterson, a Simpson College student from Indianola, watched the latest episode of ‘Inside Studio G’ on Garth’s Facebook page on Monday night (April 17) and was shocked at what she heard. Talking about a new talent, Garth said during the episode, “They are not going to look like what you think they’re going to look like, They’re not going to sound like what you think they’re going to sound like. But when you hear them, you just go, ‘Holy cow!”

The talent Brooks was talking about was Maggie! Maggie sent a video of her singing ‘Crazy’ by Patsy Cline months ago, not expecting a response, but Garth complemented Peterson’s vibrato and pitch.
