Even on a slow day, Garth Brooks is a busy dude.  He’s like a shark who can’t stop swimming. He’s been saying for weeks now that 2023 might be the busiest of his career. All eyes are on the ACM Awards, his first awards show co-hosting gig, sharing the stage with the Queen, Dolly Parton. However, there is so much more to come.

“Everything from A-to-Z is going to happen…this year,” Garth shared Monday while “Inside Studio G” on Facebook. “In the next eight weeks, I think there’s going to be so many things drop that it’s going to be hard to keep up,” he adds. “I know it’s hard for me to keep up right now!”

Some of the highlights:

*The Garth Brooks/Plus ONE Las Vegas Residency. “The most important thing for us is opening night,” he says, noting he’s still not sure when the residency’s second year of dates (in 2024) will be unveiled and put on sale, though it’s no doubt soon. “We’re in rehearsals. We’re in stage block[ing],” the entertainer says, adding, “This is going to be a rough one to start out with.” “It’ll be me at the barest you’ve ever seen,” he explains of the first-of-its-kind performances that he hopes to make unique each and every night.

His long-awaited Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk in downtown Nashville. “It’s taking a while. But that’s how construction is!” he admits of the work that’s ongoing. “These guys, man – they’re working on it! Every time you go down there, they’ve gone a billion miles,” Garth says. “It’s just a lot. Five floors of honky-tonk? That’s a lot of fun, right there!”

One thing is for sure, Garth Brooks is showing no signs of slowing down and giving you, the fans, plenty to be excited about.
