Star Spangled Salute: Veterans Saving Kids

Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors the group of volunteers who belong to the organization “Saved In America” or SIAM.  The organization is made up of veterans from the U.S. Navy Seals, police detectives and other specialists who came together for a common interest, to help fight against sex trafficking.  There were 7,621 cases reported in 2016 and the numbers have continued to grow.  Since 2014 they’ve located and recovered 197 children.  They do all this at no charge to the families assisting in finding legal representation, safe housing and rehabilitative therapy.  To the veterans and all who make up this group “Saved In America” Thank you for your service.
