The season launch at Old Cowtown Museum (1865 W. Museum Blvd) begins on Sunday, April 2nd.

The free “welcome back” party will be from noon to 5 p.m., and visitors will be able to preview the museum’s upcoming events.

During the event, the Cowtown Vintage Base Ball Club will take the field at 1 p.m. The Cowtown Cowboys are up at 1:30 p.m. and the River City Renegades are up at 3:30 p.m.  Daisy Longstem’s Saloon Girls perform at 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. in the saloon. Volunteer groups, such as the Entre Nous Victorian Dancers, will be on site to help guests learn more about the 2023 season, including volunteer and membership opportunities at Cowtown.

The event will also kick off a month-long promotion on family/grandparent memberships, normally $65 but on sale for $10 off throughout April.

Admission to Old Cowtown is free on Sundays, thanks to a generous donation from Colby Sandlian. Regular museum admission is $9 for adults, $8 for seniors, $7 for youth, $6 children aged 5-11, and children four and under get in free. Cowtown members receive free admission.
