Wichita’s North High has unveiled the school’s new RedHawks logo.
An all-school assembly was held Thursday afternoon. North High graduate Bill Gardner, who designed the new logo, took part in the reveal ceremony. The logo was displayed in a video that was shown to the assembly, then the logo was unveiled in the center of the basketball court.
The Wichita Board of Education voted to change the school’s mascot from the Redskins back in 2021. North High students, staff, and alumni voted on the RedHawks name change in the fall of 2022.
