Wichita Festivals, Inc. presented the winner of the annual poster and artwork contest for Wichita Riverfest. The winner announced Monday is artist Adam Anderson of Gardner Design.
Anderson said the design is something that is fun and bright that shows the individual elements that flow together and connect for Riverfest. Nancy Duling, Wichita Festivals President and CEO, said the poster and artwork designed by Anderson capture the milestone of 50 years of Riverfest while including the excitement that the future holds for the event.
The 51st Riverfest will feature the Safelite Autoglass Sundown Parade, the Fidelity Bank River Run, fireworks on the first Friday, and a fireworks finale on the last Saturday. The nine-day schedule will feature a number of concerts and entertainment events. Riverfest runs June 2nd through the 10th.
