Extra security has been in place at Campus High School in Haysville after a threat of a school shooting was reported through the Wichita Crime Stoppers program.
Haysville school officials said the threat was vague in nature and it did not name any specific people who were targeted. The district contacted the Haysville Police Department and extra officers were on school grounds for Wednesday.
School officials are calling on students and staff to be vigilant and to report any suspicious activity.
