Augusta Police have increased their presence at Augusta Middle School.
A custodian discovered a threat on a desk Thursday and reported it to authorities. The student who made the alleged threat was interviewed and it was determined that there was no merit to the threat.
However, police increased their presence at the school as a precaution.
