Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors 20-year Navy Veteran James Silcox.  James suffers from an autoimmune disease that left him unable to talk, walk, or breathe on his own. He uses a wheelchair to get around, but it has its limitations. On Wednesday, James thought he was going to a Wounded Warrior event, instead he was surprised with a new all-terrain wheel chair, a gift that brought tears to his eyes. This wheelchair will go through ice, snow, sand, mud, up and down hills, and over rocks, and give James a gift of mobility he hasn’t had in quite some time.  Enjoy this gift James and THANK YOU for your service.
