13 year old Teagan Lomax and 30 year old Alexander Dennis, both of South Hutchinson, were killed Friday afternoon in a crash in Reno County. It happened around 4 p.m. on K-14 and 50th Ave. about three miles south of Nickerson.
Troopers said 2003 Ford Mustang was traveling southbound on K-14 and did not decelerate as traffic ahead of it slowed. The driver of the Mustang then ran into the back of a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant being driven by Dennis, in which Lomax was a passenger. The collision forced their car to enter into the intersection where it was struck by a semi. The car then struck a trailer being towed by a 2009 Chevy Suburban, while the semi jack-knifed and struck a 2022 Dodge Ram.
Teagan’s mother, Lacy Lomax, was supposed to marry Dennis in March.
A GoFundMe was created to help Lacy with funeral costs, which you can view here.
