Today’s Star Spangled Salute honors Veteran John Lopiccolo. In September 2020, as the global Coronavirus pandemic took it’s grip on everyday life, John created Kane Fishing Gear, a company that shares profits with other war veterans locally and across multiple states. John is a wounded Veteran who says that he simply wants to give back to other wounded Veterans who need more than he does. Profits from the sales of his products go on to help Operation Tackle Box out of Georgia, all with the end goal of helping Veterans deal with the physical and mental challenges that come with their life after service.
