Salina Police need help solving a hit-and-run incident that severely injured a person on Christmas Eve.
They said that a 49 year old man was crossing the street shortly after 7:45 p.m. in the 500 block of South Ohio when he was hit by a car.
The man suffered a severe head injury and a broken leg. He was then rushed to a local hospital and was later transferred to Via Christi in Wichita.
Authorities say the vehicle is a beige or tan 2003-2006 Toyota Camry and they believe it would have sustained damage to the driver-side front corner and possibly to the windshield as well. They say it is also missing the driver-side mirror.
Anyone with information should call Salina Police at 785-826-7210 or Crime Stoppers at 785-825-TIPS.
