Today, the AWESOME is in San Bernardino, California. What did you accomplish when you were 10? While you think about that, say hello to 10-year-old Alisa Perales. Alisa is set to become the youngest person ever to walk across the commencement stage at Crafton Hills College. The youngest graduate in the history of that school will graduate with associate’s degrees in multiple sciences and mathematics, all earned with a near-perfect GPA, according to California Community Colleges. She achieved this because she loves learning and says learning is fun. At age 5, she was doing algebra and reading entire novels. While there are some downsides, like not attending school with kids her age, she has no plans of slowing down. She has applied to transfer to Stanford and is awaiting their response. Inspiring all at only 10 years old, THAT’S AWESOME.
