Today, I salute Kansas Veteran Travis Guthrie. In conflict and combat, some of the most important roles are the ones that fuel the fight, literally. Army Reserves Sergeant Travis Guthrie spent 14 years doing just that. On his first deployment in 2003, Guthrie and his company were the leaders across the border into Iraq. They hauled fuel up to the frontlines. His tanker carried 75,000 gallons of fuel and was right behind the armored push. It was the fuel that kept the whole operation running. From the tanks, to the helicopters, and even keep the lights in the command posts on. Travis has lots of stories to tell and said the highs came from meeting incredible people along the way. Thank you for fueling the fight, Travis, and THANK YOU for your service.
