Today, the AWESOME comes from a wheelchair and a bottle. 19-year-old Drew Davis has Cerebral Palsy and a can-do attitude. So, when a teacher asked his class to create a business model and told Drew his was “unrealistic,” that fueled Drew’s fire in the most successful way. He brought his business to life. The business is “Crippling Hot Sauce.” With six different levels of heat from “Life’s A Beach,” and “Just For The Parking,” to “Crippling Agony,” and “Ghost Pepper Palsy.” Drew says the blend of bold flavors with bold humor, along with branding and a positive outlook, is the key to his success. It’s not just about the success though, Drew donates 5% of Crippling Hot Sauce’s profits to cerebral palsy research, giving back to a cause close to his heart. In 2023, the company donated $22,000 to the Cerebral Palsy Research Foundation. Drew Davis is living proof that sometimes, the best way to respond to doubt is to spice things up and make your own path, one bottle at a time, and THAT’S AWESOME.
