Let’s go to England for the AWESOME today. Ladies, you will get no argument from me. I totally get how exciting it is when you buy something and it has pockets. So, imagine when English tween Georgia discovered that the store that sold all the school uniforms in her hometown only sold pants with no pockets for girls. She decided she was going to do something about it. Her battle cry was, “Girls need to carry things too,” She wrote a letter of petition and followed that letter up with another. To her surprise, the next time she went shopping for pants, they had pockets, deep, glorious pockets. While the store didn’t say whether her letter swayed them, Georgia decided to take credit for the win, as I think she should. Inspiring important change for all, Georgia, THAT’S AWESOME.
