Today, I salute Vietnam War Veteran Lloyd Williams. Last year, Lloyd was on an honor flight. At that time, he shared the story of after the Vietnam War, he threw out all his uniforms and medals, wanting nothing to do with being a soldier. After, he regretted that decision, but it was done. The volunteers heard the story and got in touch with Utah Senator Mike Lee’s office, and the ball was rolling. Fast forward to a couple of days ago, Lloyd was in a room with a few friends and family and was surprised by all the medals he earned and deserved 55 years later. It was an emotional moment for Lloyd. Congratulations on this piece of your honor returned, Lloyd, and THANK YOU for your service.
