A man told officers he was approached by two unknown men in the 700 block of South Hunter, near Kellogg and Woodlawn, around 9:30 p.m. The men demanded jewelry from the victim, and when he refused he was shot in the hand and the thigh. The gunmen got away with three gold necklaces. The victim went to a hospital where he was treated and released.
