The Sedgwick County Health Department will have a measles vaccination clinic on Saturday, March 22nd.

The vaccinations will be provided for adults and children 12 months and older, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the West Central Clinic at 2716 West Central.

Adults should bring identification and vaccination records, if available, and they should bring insurance information if applicable.  There is no out-of-pocket cost for the vaccinations.

Appointments are encouraged but not required, and they can be made by calling 316-660-7300.  The last walk-ins will be accepted at 2 p.m. on Saturday.

There have been no reported cases of measles in Sedgwick County since 2017.   One case has been reported in Kansas, in Stevens County in the southwest part of the state, and it was unclear if that case was connected to any of the outbreaks that have been reported recently in Texas, New Mexico and other states.  Nationally, there were 301 cases reported as of March 13th.
