Two injured in southeast Wichita apartment fire

Two people were injured when a fire broke out Wednesday afternoon at an apartment complex in southeast Wichita.

Fire crews were called to Sugar Creek Apartments at 2550 South Oliver around 1:30 p.m. and they saw smoke coming from a two-story building.  They found flames inside the building affecting four apartments.

Two people had possible serious injuries and they were being treated at the scene.  No other information has been released.
