A storm system will move across Kansas Tuesday night into Wednesday, with much colder temperatures, strong north winds and snow, creating blizzard conditions for the central and northwest parts of the state.
KFDI’s weather partners at KWCH, Storm Team 12 said any snow accumulation will mainly be on grassy areas, but low visibility and slick spots will make travel difficult for Tuesday night and early Wednesday. North central Kansas could see 2 to 5 inches of snow with a trace to 2 inches for western, central and northeast areas.
The Wichita area is expecting snow during the morning hours Wednesday but amounts are expected to be light.
