Children’s Mercy Kansas City has announced plans to expand services in the Wichita area with the construction of a new multi-specialty ambulatory clinic in Wichita.
The 18,000 square-foot facility will be located at 28th Street North and Greenwich Road, and it will serve more than 10,000 pediatric patients in the region. Children’s Mercy officials said the clinic will be designed to optimize space, foster collaboration and allow for expanded services.
Children’s Mercy has provided services in Wichita since 2012 and has operated more than 30 specialty clinics in southeast Kansas.
Mary Ann Queen, Children’s Mercy vice president and associate chief medical officer for regional and outreach services, said in a press release “We’re thrilled to expand our ability to deliver exceptional clinical care to more children and families in the region. We’ve been part of Wichita for more than a decade and we look forward to building on that relationship to foster a healthier and stronger community.”
The new location is expected to open in the summer of 2026.
