Today, we salute Army Veteran Clayton Crosley. Ten years ago, after recovering from shoulder surgery with the help of tai chi, Clayon was put on an unexpected path that would positively impact hundreds of other Veterans. What began as a personal journey of healing transformed into a mission to help fellow Veterans find relief through the ancient practice of tai chi and Qigong, a perfect embodiment of the Whole Health approach that focuses on “what matters to you, not what is the matter with you.” “I thought it might be good to share this with other people who’ve got shoulder issues or back issues. And that led me to become a volunteer at VA,” Crosley shared. There is not only a physical benefit but a mental health benefit, too, where patients walk away feeling less stressed and more relaxed. Thank you for helping other Veterans, Clayton, and THANK YOU for your service.
