Officials in northern Oklahoma are at a loss to explain the collapse of a wind turbine.
Firefighters in Kildare, a town in Kay County north of Ponca City, were called to a rural location around 7:20 Tuesday morning. They found a wind turbine that had collapsed with debris scattered across a field.
Officials said there were no windy conditions and it’s not known what caused the collapse.
