The family of a Connecticut man killed in the Washington DC plane crash last month has filed a 250-million-dollar claim against federal agencies.

Casey Crafton of Salem, Connecticut was one of 67 people killed when a military helicopter collided with an American Airlines jet on January 29th near Reagan Washington National Airport.   The jet was on a flight from Wichita’s Eisenhower National Airport.

The family has filed a form 95 with the FAA and the U.S. Army, which is submitted before a lawsuit is launched against a federal agency. Crafton was returning home from a business trip when the plane crash happened.
