The Philadelphia Eagles are celebrating their second Lombardi trophy in franchise history. Philadelphia took down the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22 in Super Bowl 59 Sunday in New Orleans.
With the win, Philly prevented Kansas City from completing its quest for the league’s first-ever three-peat. Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts was named MVP.
Patrick Mahomes threw for 257 yards, three touchdowns and two interceptions for the Chiefs. Kansas City is now four-and-three all time in Super Bowl play.
