A Hillsboro teenager was killed Saturday evening in a one-vehicle crash in Marion County.
The Kansas Highway Patrol said 16-year-old Sutton Redger was driving south on Jade Road southeast of Hillsboro around 5 p.m., and after going through a low-water crossing, his pickup went off the road and rolled three times before coming to rest.
Redger was dead at the scene and a 16-year-old male passenger was taken to a Wichita hospital with serious injuries.
