It was a big night at the Grammys last night. Chris Stapleton won for Best Country Solo Performance for “It Takes A Woman.” “The Architect” won Kacey Musgraves the Best Country Song Grammy. Beyonce’s “Cowboy Carter” won Best Country Album and earned her first Album of the Year award. She also took home the Best Country Duo or Group Grammy for her song “II Most Wanted” with Miley Cyrus. She is the first Black woman in 50 years to win a country Grammy.
One of the most fun stories of the night was Lainey Wilson doing her own grocery shopping before the Grammy’s. She loaded her vehicle with three cases of Coors Light, some fruits and veggies, stacks of red Solo cups, and a giant container of cheese balls. I mean, you’d think she’d have people for this.
Kane Brown did it, and now his “Haunted” duet partner Jelly Roll is making his acting debut on the CBS show “Fire Country.” He played himself in a cameo in “Tulsa King,” but this is his first fictional role, playing an orderly named Noah in an episode that will air on April 11th.
It’s Super Bowl week, and the commercials are starting to leak. Budweiser revealed theirs over the weekend, which features the Bellamy Brother’s hit “Let Your Love Flow.”
Kelsea Ballerini is trading in her black mini dress from the Grammys last night for the coach’s chair tonight. She makes her debut on The Voice alongside fellow coaches John Legend, Michael Buble, and the returning Adam Levine.
