Friends University in Wichita has announced a program to provide support for families affected by the January 29th plane crash in Washington, D.C.
The university’s Center on Family Living will be offering free therapy and teletherapy to anyone in the state of Kansas who was directly impacted by the crash.
Dr. Rebecca Culver-Turner, LCMFT, Program Director of Wichita Master of Science in Family Therapy Program, said in a press release that the crash will have a long-term impact on the Wichita community and the nation, stating “We can guess that the grief experienced within this community will be immeasurable and run deep for generations.”
