Seven people are now confirmed dead in the crash of a medical flight in Philadelphia.
Mayor Cherelle Parker announced Saturday that all six people onboard the air ambulance flight were killed along with one person on the ground when the medical LearJet went down near a Philadelphia mall. The aircraft crashed and exploded moments after taking off from Northeast Philadelphia Airport.
All six onboard were Mexican nationals, including a mother and child who had traveled to the U.S. for medical treatment. At least 19 people were being treated for burns and other injuries at area hospitals.
