As victims are identified from Wednesday’s crash of an American Airlines flight out of Wichita, efforts are being made to remember them and provide support to their families.
A remembrance table has been set up at Wichita’s Eisenhower National Airport for people to express sympathy. It’s in the public area of the terminal across from the information booth.
The Wichita Foundation has created a program called ICT Together to raise funds for support programs for affected families. It will be used for crisis remediation, help with mental health services and other needs. They are working with the Greater Washington Community Foundation and other groups in the Virginia area to work out details. More information is available through the web site ict-together.org.
The website GoFundMe has set up a page with verified fundraisers to support the people affected by the crash.
